As a Functional Skills Tutor you will be supporting students aged 16-18 achieve their functional skills qualifications in both, Maths and English, ICT up to Level 2. We are looking for a Functional Skills Tutors that can motivate and inspire our students to achieve their full potential whilst on our programme. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Construction Tutor/Assessor to join our training team. As a Tutor/Assessor you will be responsible for ensuring that learners achieve the appropriate Vocational Qualifications and Functional Skills as part of their Study Programme or Traineeship. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in training. This important role at a Grade 1 Outstanding Training Provider requires you to deliver a comprehensive curriculum including Functional Skills English, Maths and ICT to small groups of learners who receive additional learning support and guidance to assist with their studies and their programme of education at Nova Training. The learner’s individual needs can range from mild to moderate educational needs and/or disabilities. Your role will be to provide consideration to the needs of a small group with support provided by additional learning support staff within the classroom to develop independence and improve the skills of young people for their individual futures. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in working as within a SEND educational environment, and preferably have previous experience working with the post 16 age group.
